Turca

Turca es una de nuestras verdaderas “unicornio.” Equilibrada, increíblemente sociable y tranquila, siempre con sus elegantes orejas bien atentas.

Su historia es tristemente habitual: utilizada y descartada por un galguero. Cuando recibimos la llamada sobre ella, nos enviaron una foto de Turca con bozal, lista para una cacería sangrienta… Pero la realidad de Turca es completamente distinta. Esta dulce galga adora tumbarse al sol junto a sus amigos galgos, disfrutando de la calma y el calor. Es muy cariñosa y no pierde oportunidad de recibir mimos. En cuanto nos ve, se ilumina y corre hacia nosotros en busca de abrazos. ¿Y la caza? Hemos visto otra verdad: Turca no tiene absolutamente ningún interés en los gatos. Ninguno. Quizás por eso dejó de ser “útil.” Quizás ya no era la más rápida. O tal vez no servía para criar más camadas. Sea cual sea la razón, lo único que sabemos es que Turca es simplemente perfecta. Estamos felices de que haya llegado hasta nosotros — y aún más felices estaremos cuando encuentre el hogar lleno de amor que merece.

Turca is one of our true “unicorns.” Perfectly balanced, incredibly social, and wonderfully calm — always with her elegant ears proudly perked up. Her story is sadly a familiar one: used and discarded by a galguero. When we first received the call about her, we were sent a photo of Turca muzzled, prepared for a bloody hunt… But the reality of Turca couldn’t be more different. This gentle lady adores sunbathing with her galgo friends, stretching out peacefully and soaking up the warmth. She is affectionate, loving every cuddle she can get her paws on. The moment she sees us, she lights up and runs over for attention and snuggles. And as for hunting? We’ve seen the truth: Turca has absolutely zero interest in cats. None at all. Perhaps that made her “less useful.” Perhaps she was no longer fast enough. Perhaps she wasn’t wanted for breeding anymore. Whatever the reason, all we know is that Turca is simply perfect. We are so grateful she found her way to us — and we would be even happier to see her find the forever home she truly deserves.
