It’s always heartbreaking, but even more so when you meet a dog as gentle and loving as Trizon — a soul who only ever deserved kindness and care. This tall, elegant boy is incredibly sociable and simply wants to be loved. He is affectionate, engaging, and wonderfully easy to be around. He even gets along with cats — a rare and special quality. As a borzoi, Trizon is much taller than a typical galgo, so don’t be surprised by his impressive height and graceful presence. Pinta

Pinta is a tiny little galga–whippet mix — slightly bigger than a whippet, yet much smaller than a typical galga. This precious girl likely lived a life without love before she came to us, and she arrived understandably afraid of humans. It seems she had only known neglect and abandonment. And yet, from the very first days, Pinta has shown her gentle, hopeful nature. She allows us to stroke her and now quietly comes closer, finding a safe place near us where she waits — so sweetly — for her well-deserved cuddles. And once she feels safe, she absolutely loves being held and comforted. Pinta is still a little timid, but we are sure that with time and patience she will blossom into a confident, affectionate little companion who comes happily for her share of love. With her soft cream-and-white coat and her soulful eyes that reflect her past, Pinta is both delicate and deeply touching. She is calm by nature and seems able to stay alone if needed, but having a gentle dog companion would likely help her grow in confidence. A tiny, tender soul ready to be loved.

Tormenta (Tora)

Tormenta, a quien cariñosamente llamamos Tora, es una galguita joven — todavía en su etapa de cachorro. Es naturalmente adorable y juguetona, como debe ser a su edad. Tormenta, affectionately called Tora, is a young galga — still very much in her puppy phase. Naturally adorable and playful, she enjoys life just as a young dog should. What makes her special is her balance. She loves to play and is very sociable, but she is not overwhelming or destructive. Calm, well-behaved, and easy to live with, Tora has a lovely, steady nature that makes her a wonderful companion. This beautiful black galga may have been discarded simply because of her colour — something we sadly see too often. But we can say with complete confidence that she is truly perfect, both inside and out. Tora has shown interest in cats, so a home without them would be best. However, she loves other dogs and would happily live with males or females — or equally as a single galga. A stunning, balanced, and joyful girl, ready for her forever home.

Urano

Despite his age, Urano is not overly boisterous — he has a calm, balanced presence. That said, he still loves to play, is very sociable, and absolutely adores all the cuddles he can get. He enjoys interacting with other dogs and people alike, and while he is playful, he carries himself with a gentle elegance. He has shown some interest in cats, so a cat-free home would likely suit him best. Just look into those eyes — we’re quite sure, just like us, you’ll fall in love instantly.

Asia

She loves to play and, after a good run around, is just as happy settling down for a well-earned rest. Because of her friendly and outgoing personality, Doro would love to be included in everyday life — joining you on outings, adventures, and all the moments in between. At the same time, she is perfectly capable of staying alone when needed, waiting patiently for your return. He literally jumps with happiness when he feels safe and loved. Jaro is also wonderfully easygoing. Lanto sigue siendo un cachorro — aunque no sabemos exactamente su edad, ya que fue abandonado sin ningún tipo de información. Chenel came to us after we were alerted that a galguero no longer wanted three of his dogs — and had even stopped feeding them. In his short life, Chenel had very little contact with kindness. Like so many galgos, he was simply used and then discarded when no longer needed. Despite this, Chenel is a lovely young boy. He may be a little timid at first, but his true nature quickly shines through — he loves to play, run, and enjoy life just as a young dog should. Le encanta la compañía humana y felizmente caminaría a tu lado todo el tiempo, siempre lista para recibir o dar cariño. A pesar de sus 8 años, sigue teniendo un espíritu juguetón y una presencia elegante. Turrón

Turrón, este dulce galguito, fue encontrado solo en las calles cerca de un pueblo de Madrid con una grave herida en su pata. Estaba extremadamente delgado, apenas podía caminar y simplemente intentaba sobrevivir. A pesar de todo lo que había pasado, Turrón es una de las almas más dulces que puedas conocer. Lo acogimos y lo llevamos inmediatamente al veterinario. Al principio estaba tan débil que ni siquiera podía mantenerse en pie y había que llevarlo en brazos. La lesión en su pie parece ser antigua y se había infectado gravemente, pero gracias al tratamiento y los cuidados ya está mejorando mucho. Ahora Turrón puede caminar — e incluso corre hacia nosotros en busca de mimos y besos. Todavía necesita una cirugía complicada, y estamos esperando el momento adecuado para realizarla. Nos aseguraremos de que esté fuerte y sano para que pueda encontrar el hogar lleno de amor que merece. Turrón es tan dulce como su nombre. Es muy sociable con todos los perros y también compatible con gatos. No haría daño a nadie — solo quiere ser querido. Y aún no hemos conocido a nadie que no se enamore de él al instante.

Turrón, this sweet little galgo, was found alone on the streets near a village in Madrid with a horrific injury to his leg. He was extremely thin, barely able to walk, and simply trying to survive. Despite everything he had endured, Turrón is one of the gentlest souls you could ever meet. We brought him into our care and immediately rushed him to our vet. At first he was so weak he couldn’t stand and had to be carried everywhere. His foot injury appears to be an old one that became badly infected, but with medication and care he has already made wonderful progress. Now Turrón can walk again — and even runs toward you for cuddles and kisses. He still needs a complex surgery, and we are waiting for the right moment for the operation. We will make sure he becomes strong, healthy, and ready to find the loving home he truly deserves. Turrón is as sweet as his name suggests. He is sociable with all dogs and also cat-safe. He wouldn’t harm a soul — all he wants is love. And we have yet to meet anyone who doesn’t fall in love with him the moment they meet him.

Kenia

Kenia es una preciosa galga joven, casi todavía una cachorra. Tiene un bonito pelaje atigrado claro y unos ojos preciosos que reflejan su dulce carácter. Pero lo que realmente la hace especial es su personalidad cariñosa. Esta pequeña galga, de unos 18 kg, llegó con la cadera rota y actualmente está esperando una operación. Aun así, su espíritu alegre no se ha apagado. Kenia juega felizmente con sus amigos y le encantan los mimos siempre que puede recibirlos. Sería ideal para un hogar con otro perro, ya que realmente brilla cuando está acompañada de sus amigos caninos. Stevie

Stevie es un gran galgo negro irlandés con su tatuaje de carreras aún visible — un recuerdo de un pasado en el que probablemente fue descartado del racing y terminó en manos de galgueros. No es una historia fácil… pero jamás lo imaginarías al conocerlo. Stevie es pura alegría. Feliz, tranquilo, cariñoso y totalmente satisfecho con la vida. Parece saber que los días difíciles quedaron atrás y ahora solo quiere disfrutar: jugar, recibir mimos, comer, dormir… repetir. Y cuando decimos grande — es realmente grande. Stevie es un chico enorme, ¡con un corazón aún más grande! Un auténtico gigante bondadoso que adora a las personas y se lleva muy bien con otros perros. Pinto fue rescatado de las calles de Zaragoza. Llegó a nosotros con nada más que miedo en sus ojos — un miedo que hablaba no solo del abandono, sino de un pasado lleno de sufrimiento. Temblaba al ver a los humanos, esperando solo lo peor, sin imaginar que pudieran traer algo bueno. Estamos haciendo todo lo posible por demostrarle que su realidad ha cambiado — que ahora la vida significa cariño, calor, juego y afecto. Aún no nos cree del todo, pero lo intenta.
