Our galgos

Pólvora es una pequeña y dulce galguita blanca y negra. Es más menudita que la media y algo tímida al principio, pero muy cariñosa.

Acepta todo lo que le rodea con tranquilidad — nunca exige, nunca se queja. Es un alma suave y serena, feliz de recibir cualquier caricia que le ofrezcas.

Pólvora es también muy sociable y disfruta de la compañía, tanto de personas como de otros perros. Una presencia tierna y amorosa que sería una compañera maravillosa.

Pólvora is a small, sweet black and white galga. She’s more petite than average and slightly shy at first, but deeply affectionate. She quietly accepts whatever comes her way — never demanding, never complaining. Just a gentle soul who’s happy to receive any cuddles you offer. Pólvora is also very social and enjoys the company of others, both human and canine. A soft, loving presence who would make a wonderful companion.

Roma

Roma es un galgo tranquilo, silencioso y dulce, de constitución delgada. Es tan apacible y discreto que casi pasa desapercibido — nunca quiere molestar, y es feliz pasando el día descansando en una camita.

Es algo desconfiado con las personas al principio, pero en cuanto le das una caricia, empieza a confiar… y pronto volverá a por más. A Roma le encanta tumbarse tranquilamente a tu lado y hacerte compañía, sea lo que sea que estés haciendo.

Es sociable con todos los perros y tiene un carácter algo sumiso. Una alma verdaderamente dulce y serena — el compañero perfecto.

Roma is a calm, quiet, and sweet galgo with a slender build. He’s so gentle and peaceful that he almost blends into the background — never wanting to be a bother, just happy to spend his day resting on a dog bed.

He’s a little wary of people at first, but the moment you give him a cuddle, he begins to trust — and soon he’ll be coming back for more. Roma loves to lie quietly by your side, offering calm companionship no matter what you're doing.

He’s sociable with all dogs and slightly submissive by nature. A truly lovely and peaceful soul — the perfect companion.

Jaleo

Jaleo es un galgo divertido y curioso, de color atigrado oscuro. Puede mostrarse un poco tímido al principio, pero en cuanto te conoce, ¡te pedirá mimos sin parar!

Es todo un amante del agua — después de una buena sesión de carreras con sus amigos, le encanta refrescarse en la piscina. Juguetón, sociable y lleno de encanto, Jaleo está listo para encontrar un hogar que comparta su espíritu alegre.

Jaleo is a funny, inquisitive dark brindle galgo. He may be a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he’ll be lining up for cuddles.

He’s a true water baby — after a good zoomie session with his friends, he loves to cool off with a splash in the pool. Playful, sociable, and full of charm, Jaleo is ready to find a home that matches his joyful spirit.

Max es un galgo atigrado precioso — elegante, tranquilo y lleno de amor. No desea nada más que estar a tu lado. Cariñoso y calmado, pero también juguetón, Max es realmente un perro ejemplar. Fue abandonado junto a su compañera Chanel, sin tener a dónde ir. Max sería muy feliz como perro único, especialmente con alguien dispuesto a recibir mucho cariño. Después de haber pasado gran parte de su vida en un espacio reducido, ahora disfruta de las cosas sencillas: descansar, relajarse y hacerte compañía todo el día. Es un alma tranquila que busca a alguien con quien compartir su dulce afecto.

Max is a gorgeous brindle elegant male galgo. He is pure affection and wants nothing absolutely nothing else just being with you. He is playful, gentle, and an absolute model boy. He was abandoned with his partner Chanel and left with nowhere to go. He could be an only dog with someone who is ready to receive a lot of love. As Max spent a lot of his time in a small place he is quite happy to sleep and relax and give you company all day.

Chanel

Chanel es un auténtico amor. Lo más probable es que fuera utilizada únicamente para la cría, tratada como una herramienta más por su anterior dueño. Y cuando ya no la necesitaban, la descartaron.

Pero Chanel tiene tanto amor que dar. Es increíblemente cariñosa y pasaría encantada sus días dándote ternura y devoción — no es de extrañar, ya que ha pasado toda su vida siendo madre.

Ahora le toca a ella recibir amor y conocer, por fin, la tranquilidad de un hogar que la valore. Chanel no te fallará — es puro corazón. Es muy amistosa con las personas y también muy sociable con otros perros.

Chanel is an absolute sweetheart. She was most likely used only for breeding — treated as nothing more than a tool by her previous owner. And when she was no longer needed, she was discarded.

But Chanel has so much love to give. She’s incredibly affectionate and would happily spend her days just showering you with gentleness and devotion — no surprise, as she’s spent her whole life being a mother.

Now, it’s her turn to receive love, and to finally know the comfort of a home that cherishes her. Chanel won’t let you down — she’s all heart. She’s wonderfully friendly with people and very social with other dogs, too.

Escarlet es una preciosa y encantadora galga de 10 años… ¡aunque con un corazón muy joven! Nadie diría que ya ha pasado su décimo cumpleaños. Siempre está lista para jugar, pero sobre todo para recibir mimos… ¡y más mimos! Mimos sin fin. Sería la mejor compañía que alguien pudiera tener. Es una perrita feliz, todo le parece bien y nunca se queja.

Y no es de extrañar… fue abandonada a los 10 años, junto a su mejor amiga Isis, porque ya no podían hacerse cargo de ellas. Así que las recibimos con los brazos abiertos. Escarlet es puro amor… ¿y mencionamos que también es compatible con gatos? Puede ser adoptada con Isis o por separado, ya que se lleva bien con todo el mundo. Pero lo más importante: ¡necesita un hogar lleno de cariño!

Escarlet is a lovely beautiful lady of 10 years young! And she is really young at heart you would never say she had passed her 10th birthday! She is always ready to play but most importantly to receive cuddles and cuddles! Endless cuddles. She would give someone the best company ever! She is a happy lady and all is good with her never complains. And no wonder.... she was abandoned at the right age of 10 as they could not take care of her and her best friend Isis.... So we took them in with open arms. She is just a pure sweetheart and did we mention catsafe too? She can be adopted with Isis or seperate as she makes friends with everyone, but most importantly she needs a loving home!

Isis es una señora encantadora de 12 años... ¡y vaya si joven! ¡No te lo creerías al verla hacer “zoomies” de felicidad! También disfruta muchísimo del agua y de sus momentos de natación. No es de extrañar que esté feliz con nosotros… ¿¡ser abandonada a la edad de 12 años!? ¿Cómo se puede hacer algo así? Fue abandonada junto a su amiga Escarlet porque ya no podían hacerse cargo de ellas…

¿Qué decir? Las recibimos con el corazón abierto. Ambas son increíblemente cariñosas, tranquilas, felices y compatibles con gatos. No podrías soñar con un temperamento mejor que el de Isis y Escarlet. ¡Se adaptan a todo y hacen nuevos amigos con alegría! Pueden ser adoptadas juntas o por separado
Isis is a lovely lady she is 12 years young. And seriously young! You would not believe how this grandma likes to do zoomies when she is happy! She also enjoys her swimming time too. No wonder she is happy with us.... being abandoned at the right age of 12???? How could you do that? She was abandoned with her friend Escarlet as they could not keep them anymore..... Well what can we say we took them in with open heart. Both are incredibly affectionate, calm happy and catsafe. You could not dream of a better temperament than Isis and Escarlet. They are happy with anything. They can be adopted together or separate they adopt to all and happily make new friends!!

La vida de trompeta no tiene q haber sido nada fácil. 12 largos años en los que seguramente ha sido usada para criar, tenía varios tumores mamarios ya operados y un gran miedo a los humanos. Convive con otros perros simplemente hay que vigilar los momentos de la comida porqué puede proteger sus recursos pero no ha tenido ningún mal gesto con nosotras. Mirada asustada y triste que seguro que en poco tiempo haremos que cambie.

Trompeta’s life surely hasn’t been easy. Twelve long years in which she was most likely used for breeding. She had several mammary tumors, now removed, and carries a deep fear of humans. She lives with other dogs without problem; she only needs supervision at mealtimes because she may guard her food, but she has never shown any aggression towards us. Her gaze is frightened and sad, but we are sure that, in no time, we will help her change that.

Giovanni tan solo tiene tres años, es timido si no conoce pero dos minutos bastan para que se acerque a investigar ya que es un galgo curioso. Es un macho precioso de tamaño medio.

Giovanni is only three years old, He is shy if he doesn’t know you, but just a couple of minutes are enough for him to come closer and investigate, as he is a curious galgo. Giovanni is a beautiful medium-sized male.

Lusi tiene 4 años y es algo miedosa. Con otros perros machos y hembras convive bien, su miedo es más hacia los humanos.

Lusi is 4 years old and a bit fearful. She gets along well with both male and female dogs, but her fear is mostly towards humans.

Enzo es un macho elegante y grande . Aún no ha cumplido los 3 años. Con los humanos es prudente a la hora de acercarse pero es sociable y dulce. Convive bien con machos y hembras.

Enzo is a large, elegant male, not yet 3 years old. He is cautious when approaching humans, but he is sweet and sociable. He gets along well with both male and female dogs.

Chusa es una adorable hembra de 8 años. Es sociable y muy cariñosa con todo el mundo. Por un problema en sus riñones de momento no puede ser castrada.

Yola es una abuelita adorable. Tiene casi 10 años, tiene su momento de jugar pero es más bien tranquila, enseguida se estira a descansar. Es sociable con otros y no tiene especial miedo.

Yola is an adorable little granny. She is almost 10 years old, and while has her playful moments, but she is mostly calm and quickly stretches out to rest. Yola is sociable with other dogs and not fearful.

Rayo es un joven galgo negro azabache, juguetón y sociable. Siempre listo para la acción y el juego. Es muy sociable con todos los demás galgos y tiene un carácter alegre y encantador.

Rayo is a young playful social jet black galgo. Ready for action and play. He is very sociable with  all the other galgos and a happy handsome carácter.

Rambo es un joven galgo atlético, ¡digno de portada! Es simplemente impresionante: elegante, de largas patas, color crema y ojos color avellana. Al principio es algo tímido, pero una vez que confía en ti, le encantan los mimos y no se cansa de recibir caricias. Es muy sociable y le encanta compartir la piscina con su amigo Martín.

Rambo is a young athletic poster boy he is just stunning! Elegant long legs cream color and hazel eyes! He is somewhat shy at first but once you gain his trust he loves all the cuddles he can get! He is very social and love to share the swimming pool with his friend Martin .

María es una galga muy, muy tímida. Debió de sufrir tanto maltrato y palizas que está absolutamente aterrada. Quiere esconderse, y se nos parte el corazón al verla, porque solo desea volverse invisible. Se acurruca al fondo del chenil, y aunque la puerta al patio esté abierta para que juegue con sus compañeros, ella simplemente se esconde. Llegó temblando, pero está haciendo pequeños progresos: ya puede salir con correa y dar un paseo por el patio. Permite que la acaricien y, poco a poco, está aprendiendo que aquí solo recibirá amor. Necesitará a alguien que comprenda el trauma que ha vivido y que le dé el tiempo necesario para salir de su caparazón. Es un proceso verdaderamente conmovedor, y cada pequeño avance te hace llorar de alegría.
Maria is a shy shy girl.
She must have received so much abuse beating that she is absolutely terrified.
She wants to hide and it breaks our heart looking at her how she just wants to be invisible. She curls up at the back of the kennel and even as the door is open to the patio to play with her kennel mates she just hides. She came trembling but ahe is making small progress and she can come out with a lead and go for a walk in the patio. She lets to be patted and slowly she is learning we will only love her. She will need someone who understands the trauma she must have went through and give her time to slowly come out of her shell. It is truly rewarding process and any small sign and you cry with happiness.

Lo hacen todo juntas: comer, dormir, caminar, descansar, jugar… todo en compañía. Azucena es un poco más segura de sí misma que Daisy, pero ambas son chicas sociables y felices. Y lo mejor de todo: las hermanas gemelas son completamente compatibles con gatos y estarían encantadas de compartir su hogar con ellos.

Azucena is slightly more confident then Daisy but both are social happy girls. What is more the twin sisters are absolutely cat safe and would be happy to share home with them.

Lolo es un galgo grande y guapo, con un color atigrado marmolado claro. Llegó con miedo y terror en sus ojos: solo podemos imaginar lo que ha vivido… A pesar de su tamaño, le gusta esconderse de las personas nuevas, un signo evidente de maltrato y abusos. Lolo está aprendiendo a confiar, y una vez que te conoce, le encanta recibir mimos y se muestra ansioso de recibir más amor.

Lolo is a gorgeous handsome big boy! He has unique light brindle marble colouring. Lolo came with fear and terror in his eyes. We can only imagine what he has been through... Despite his sizes he likes to hide away from new people sure sign of beating and abuse. Lolo is learning to trust he is happily to be cuddled once he knows you and he is eager to receive more love. Now that he is learning that there is nothing to fear from anymore, you find him slowly coming to you to ask for some cuddles, he has been missing in his life.

Careta es una dulce galga blanca y negra. Es tranquila, cariñosa y muy sociable con todos sus amigos. ¡Y sí, Careta también es feliz conviviendo con gatos!
Careta is a sweet black and white galga. She is calm and loving and very sociable with all his friends and yes Careta is also happy to live with cats too!

Fiti es un galgo joven, guapo y precioso, con un deslumbrante pelaje de color plateado azul marmolado. Realmente único. Fiti llegó asustado y nervioso, pero en cuanto se dio cuenta de que aquí no tenía que esconderse del maltrato y que nuestro refugio está lleno de amor y felicidad, ahora está listo para jugar y confiar. Te sigue dulcemente para recibir caricias, y tiene el pelaje más suave y sedoso. Fiti es muy juguetón y le encanta pasar el tiempo con todos sus amigos.

Fiti is a gorgeous handsome young galgo with stunning silver blue marble colourings. Truly unique. Fiti arrived fearful and nervous but as soon as he realised that here he does not have to hide from abuse and in our kennel it is safe, all about love and happiness he is now ready to play and trust. He sweetly follows you for cuddles and he has the softest silky fur. Fiti is very playful loves hanging around with all his friends.

Silvana es una galga joven, elegante y preciosa, de color marmolado. Al principio es tímida, pero le encantan los mimos y jugar con sus compañeros del refugio. ¡Absolutamente preciosa!

Silvana is a stunning elegant marble coloured young galga. She is timid at first but she loves all cuddles and happy to play with her kennel mates. Absolutely precious galga!

Noro is a young elegant blak galgo. He might be shy first but he is playful and gains confidence. He is very social with other dogs and a lovely nature. Noro is also catsafe.

Sira es una hermosa galga, tranquila y sociable. Se lleva bien con cualquier otro perro y sus colores llamativos la hacen destacar. Le encantan los mimos y no tiene problemas de miedo.
Sira is a beautiful, calm, sociable galga she is happy with any other dog and her striking colours makes her stand out. Sira loves cuddles and has no fear issues.

Marisma es una galga de carácter difícil por el pasado que ha tenido. Necesita comprensión y cariño.

Marisma has a truly horrible and sad past. She was found with a carabiner attached to her leg. She not only was kept in a horrific condition but most likely she was abused. No wonder she suffers from extreme trauma and needs incredible patience and space to let her trust you. She has however gained some trust and can be now taken for a walk within the centre and she enjoys the company of her kennel-mate Haiku. She would need an understanding home with someone who is an expert with traumatic dogs. Marisma is an absolute beauty and a precious galga. She is good with any dogs she is submissive and loves cats.

Mesteño es un galgo espectacular, bonachón, tranquilo y equilibrado.

Mesteno is an absolutely gorgeous galgo, he is clam and collected - very laid back.

Golondrina es una galga con un pasado duro. Es cariñosa cuando sabe que puede confiar.

Golondrina's past is reflected in her sad eyes. She had a trauma on one of her front paw and limping slightly. Golondrina is sweet once she understands that you are to be trusted. She is a sweet sweet girl.
