Federico is a handsome galgo born in 2020 with a wonderfully calm and gentle nature. He is a quiet soul who enjoys a peaceful environment and takes life at his own relaxed pace.

He can be a little shy when meeting new people, as he is still settling into his new surroundings, but beneath that initial reserve is a very sweet and affectionate boy. With patience and kindness, Federico will continue to grow in confidence and become a wonderfully loyal companion.

There is something especially touching about Federico. We have the feeling that, unlike many galgos, he may once have lived inside a home. He walks confidently up and down stairs, settles beautifully indoors, and seems happiest when he has a cosy place to rest. When left alone he doesn't cry or become distressed, but there is a quiet sadness about him, as though he simply misses being close to his people.

Federico is wonderfully easy to walk. He is relaxed on the lead and never pulls or rushes. At the shelter he enjoys a gentle stroll before happily returning to his favourite place—his comfortable bed.

Although he isn't the type of dog who constantly asks for attention, it is obvious how much he enjoys gentle strokes and kind words. Every cuddle is quietly appreciated, and you can almost see him relaxing a little more each day.

Federico has also shown us just what a remarkable character he has. He recently underwent surgery and has been the perfect patient from beginning to end. Despite wearing his protective cone, he never complained, never cried, continued eating well, and accepted everything with incredible patience. The only thing he wasn't too impressed with was sleeping upstairs with the air conditioning—a true galgo who clearly prefers warmth and a cosy bed!

Federico is quite a large galgo, weighing around 30–31 kg, but don't let his size fool you. Thanks to his wonderfully calm and gentle nature, he is very easy to handle on the lead. In a quieter, non-urban setting, we believe almost anyone would enjoy walking him.

Federico would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm, gentle galgo who enjoys the simple pleasures in life—a peaceful walk, a soft bed, gentle cuddles, and a loving family to call his own.

Rumba is a joyful young galga who is still very much a puppy at heart. Full of energy, fun, and happiness, she is a little whirlwind who turns every day into an adventure. She absolutely loves to play and is always ready for the next game. Affectionate and full of personality, Rumba has no fear of people and approaches life with confidence, curiosity, and endless enthusiasm. Her cheerful spirit is simply contagious. Like any happy youngster, she can be a little mischievous at times, but in the most adorable way. She will make you laugh every day with her funny antics and playful nature, before curling up beside you for a well-earned cuddle. If you're looking for a young galga who will fill your home with joy, laughter, and endless love, Rumba could be the perfect match.

Solfa is a beautiful young black galga, born in 2024, with a joyful spirit and a heart full of love. She is friendly, playful, and wonderfully confident, greeting life with curiosity and enthusiasm. Unlike many of our rescued galgos, Solfa has no fear of people. She enjoys human company, loves to play, and is always happy to be involved in whatever is happening around her. Her cheerful, easy-going nature makes her a pleasure to be with. This lovely young girl gets along beautifully with everyone and would adapt easily to almost any loving home. Whether she is playing with her canine friends or enjoying cuddles with her family, Solfa simply loves life. A gorgeous young galga ready to fill her forever home with happiness, fun, and endless affection.

Miuria is a handsome young galgo born in 2023 and the brother of Forky. Like his brother, he had a difficult start in life and can be a little unsure of people when he first meets them. But beneath that initial caution is a playful, happy young boy just waiting to blossom. Once Miuria is with dogs he knows, especially his brother Forky or his friend Ónix, he completely relaxes. He loves to play, run around, and enjoy himself like the young galgo he truly is. Watching him forget his worries and simply have fun is a joy. Miuria is slowly learning that humans can be kind too. With patience, gentle encouragement, and plenty of love, his confidence continues to grow every day. We have no doubt that in a loving home he will flourish into a devoted and affectionate companion. This lovely young boy is ready for someone to show him that the rest of his life will be filled only with love.

Ónix is a handsome black galgo born in 2018, proving that age is just a number. He is full of life, wonderfully playful, and has a cheerful personality that makes everyone around him smile. Unlike many rescued galgos, Ónix has no fear of people. He enjoys human company, happily joins in with whatever is going on, and is always ready for a game or a cuddle. His confidence and easy-going nature make him a wonderful companion. Although he loves to play, Ónix also has the calmness and maturity that come with being an adult galgo. He has found the perfect balance between enjoying life's adventures and relaxing with the people he loves. This gorgeous black boy has so much love still to give and is simply waiting for a family to share it with. We are sure he will bring happiness, laughter, and endless affection to the lucky home that chooses him.

Forky is a handsome young galgo born in 2023 and the brother of Miuria. Like his brother, he had a difficult start in life and can be a little wary of people when he first meets them. But beneath that initial uncertainty is a playful, gentle young boy just waiting to discover how wonderful life can be. When Forky is with his canine friends, especially his brother Miuria, he completely comes out of his shell. He loves to play, run, and enjoy every moment with the other dogs, showing the happy young galgo he truly is. With patience, kindness, and a little time, Forky is learning that humans can be trusted too. Every day he grows a little more confident, and we know that in the right home he will continue to flourish. Forky is a wonderful young boy with so much love to give. All he needs is someone willing to let him blossom at his own pace, and he will become the most devoted companion.

Moro is a handsome galgo born in 2020 with a wonderfully calm and gentle nature. He is a quiet soul who enjoys a peaceful environment and takes life at his own relaxed pace. He can be a little timid when meeting new people, as he is still settling into his new surroundings, but beneath that initial reserve is a very sweet and affectionate boy. With patience and kindness, Moro will continue to grow in confidence and become a wonderfully loyal companion. Unlike many younger galgos, Moro is not looking for a busy or boisterous lifestyle. We feel he would be happiest in a calm home where he can enjoy peaceful walks, cosy naps, and the quiet companionship of his family. He doesn't need excitement to be happy—he simply wants to feel safe, loved, and included. Although Moro gets along well with other dogs, we believe he would especially thrive as an only dog, not because he doesn't like other dogs, but because his gentle and quiet nature would allow him to fully relax and enjoy the peaceful life he deserves. A truly lovely boy who will reward patience with endless devotion.

Rovell is a handsome young brindle galgo with sad eyes that tell a story all too familiar to us. A story of neglect, fear, and abandonment — the sadly typical fate of far too many galgos. When Rovell arrived, he carried with him a deep fear of humans. It was clear that kindness had not been a large part of his life. Like so many others, he came to us unsure, frightened, and emotionally broken by the treatment he had received. This is why we do what we do. We believe that love, patience, and kindness can heal even the deepest wounds. And thankfully, time and again, we see that it is true. Watching dogs like Rovell slowly learn to trust again is one of the most rewarding journeys imaginable. Little by little, he has begun to understand that not all humans are the same. He now enjoys our company, seeks out cuddles, and allows himself to accept the affection he has always deserved. The journey is not yet complete, but Rovell is well on his way. His confidence grows a little more every day, and we know that in a loving home he will continue to blossom into the wonderful companion he was always meant to be. We hope his forever family finds him soon.

Pua is a young black-and-white galga, still very much a puppy at heart and absolutely bursting with life, love, and happiness. Sometimes it feels as though her main purpose in life is simply to make everyone around her smile. She adores people and loves being involved in whatever is happening around her. Whether it's a walk, a trip into town, a coffee at a café, a family outing, or simply relaxing at home, Pua is happiest when she can be part of the adventure. Friendly, confident, and endlessly affectionate, she would be a wonderful companion for an active family or anyone looking for a dog to share everyday life with. Pua adapts easily and seems to make herself at home wherever she goes. To Pua, there are no strangers — only friends she has not met yet. She is a true little lovebug with enough affection and enthusiasm to brighten every day.

Levandula is still just a puppy at heart, only two years old and full of life, joy, and enthusiasm. This tiny little galga loves everything a young dog should — playing, running around with her friends, and, most importantly, receiving cuddles. Levandula is incredibly sociable and loves being around everyone. Whether she is playing with other dogs or enjoying attention from people, she is happiest when she can be part of the action. With her beautiful dark brindle-and-white coat and petite size, she is absolutely adorable. But it is her cheerful and affectionate personality that truly makes her special. Levandula would fit beautifully into almost any home. She has so much love, happiness, and companionship to give, and we are sure she will bring endless joy to the lucky family who welcomes her into their lives.

Teo is a lovely little galgo, only two years old and still very much a puppy at heart. Like any young dog, he loves to play, have fun with his friends, and receive all the cuddles and attention he can get. This handsome boy has a beautiful light brindle coat with white markings and is much smaller than the average male galgo, more the size of a petite female. His smaller size only adds to his charm. Teo is incredibly sociable and gets along beautifully with everyone. All the other galgos are his friends, and he is always happy to join in whatever is happening around him. Although he is still young, Teo is wonderfully mature for his age. He certainly enjoys playtime, but he is not the type to turn the house upside down. In fact, he is a remarkably calm and balanced galgo who is just as happy resting peacefully and watching the world go by as he is running around with his friends. A sweet, easy-going boy who would bring joy, companionship, and plenty of cuddles to any home.

Mori is a lovely little black galga and an absolute treasure. She has a wonderfully calm and balanced nature, is sociable with everyone she meets, and seems genuinely happy with whatever life brings her way. Friendly, easy-going, and affectionate, Mori gets along beautifully with both people and other dogs. She has that rare ability to fit in wherever she goes, making friends effortlessly and bringing a sense of peace and happiness with her. She would do wonderfully in a home with existing dogs, settling in easily and becoming part of the family in no time. At the same time, she would also be perfectly happy as an only dog, provided she has plenty of love and companionship. Mori is simply a happy girl waiting for a family to love her. In return, she will fill their lives with affection, warmth, and quiet joy.

Leona is a gorgeous dark brindle galga with a truly striking appearance. Her beautiful face, elegant features, and long dark nose make her impossible to forget. She is one of those dogs whose beauty catches your eye immediately. Leona may seem a little shy when you first meet her, but all it takes is a few gentle cuddles and kind words for her to forget her worries and begin to trust. Like so many of our galgos, she has learned from experience that not all humans have been kind. Thankfully, she is only slightly timid and responds wonderfully to affection and reassurance. It is always heartwarming to watch dogs like Leona realise that most people simply want to give them love. With every cuddle, her confidence grows a little more. Leona is very sociable with other dogs and is a non-dominant female who happily shares her space with everyone. Easy-going, gentle, and affectionate, she would fit beautifully into a loving home.

Neo is an absolutely gorgeous young male galgo with a sleek jet-black coat that shines in the sunlight. Athletic, elegant, and incredibly handsome, he is a truly striking dog. But what is even more impressive than his looks is his wonderful character. Neo is calm, gentle, and incredibly affectionate. He is very social with other dogs and thoroughly enjoys cuddles and human company. At the same time, he has a peaceful nature and is perfectly content simply relaxing and watching the world go by. This lovely boy would fit beautifully into almost any family, whether as an only dog or alongside other canine companions. Neo asks for very little — just love, kindness, and a place to belong. In return, he will offer loyalty, affection, and a wonderfully calming presence. Neo is one of those special dogs whose quiet companionship makes every day a little brighter. All he is looking for is a family to love him — and he will give that love back a hundredfold.

Shauna is a young Irish-looking greyhound with a perfectly fitting Irish name. She is still just a puppy — only around a year old — yet sadly, galgeros had already taught her fear before she even had the chance to grow up. When Shauna arrived, she was terrified of people. Thankfully, little by little, she has begun to trust us and now plays like the lovely young puppy she truly is. As a greyhound, Shauna has a naturally calm and balanced temperament, though she is smaller than the average greyhound or galga. Her black-and-white spotted coat and adorable bat ears make her absolutely beautiful and full of charm. Shauna must have come from a very difficult past, but despite everything, she remains sweet and social with all other dogs. She is currently being treated for leishmania, but because she is still such a young girl, we are very positive that it will not affect her future. This little Irish girl is a true treasure, ready to leave her difficult past behind and discover what a loving home truly feels like.

Candela is a lovely light marble brindle galga with a gentle and quiet nature. She may seem shy and reserved at first, but behind that calm exterior is an absolutely adorable and beautiful soul. Candela is definitely not the type to demand attention or push herself forward with a “me, me, me” attitude. Instead, she quietly observes, patiently waiting for you to come to her for a gentle pat or cuddle. And with even the smallest bit of affection, she is happy. Candela asks for very little — just kindness, love, and a safe place to belong. She is very sociable with everyone and happily shares her space with other dogs, always polite and never pushy. She quietly stays in the background, making her sweet nature even more touching. Candela is simply a calm, lovely soul waiting for someone to truly see her.

Alonso is a gorgeous light brindle marble-coloured boy with a truly gentle soul. When he first arrived, he was somewhat shy — a clear sign that he had never received love or positive attention from his galguero. But slowly, Alonso has begun to leave that fear behind and understand that with us, he never has to fear anything again. Here, there is only love, comfort, good food, and friends to play with. Now Alonso is blossoming into the playful young galgo he was always meant to be. He loves being close to us, where he feels safe and cared for, and his affectionate personality shines more each day. We truly hope this beautiful boy will soon find the forever loving home he so deserves.

Dólar is an absolutely stunning cream-coloured galgo, beautiful both in appearance and in spirit. During his first five years with a galguero, he learned very little kindness from humans. Instead, he learned fear — that people could hurt, neglect, and starve him. It is no surprise that when he first arrived, this gorgeous boy wanted to run away whenever a person approached him. Thankfully, Dólar has a huge heart and a wonderfully forgiving nature. He is also incredibly intelligent, and slowly he has begun to realise that not all humans are the same. Little by little, he now comes to us for cuddles and affection, learning to trust and to enjoy the love he has always deserved. Watching a frightened galgo slowly let go of fear and open his heart again is truly one of the most beautiful journeys. Dólar still has more healing ahead of him, but we know that in a loving home he will continue to blossom and finally discover the safe, happy life he was always meant to have.

Talavante is a handsome jet-black galgo with a gentle and somewhat shy nature. While he may appear a little reserved at first, it doesn’t take long for him to forget the fears he carried from his past life with the galgueros. Once he feels safe, he becomes incredibly affectionate and happily melts into cuddles and attention. Talavante is very sociable with other dogs and is truly a very good boy — calm, well-behaved, and never looking for trouble. He simply wants peace, kindness, and a place where he finally belongs. Sadly, being a large black male galgo often means being overlooked. But we hope someone will look beyond this and see the wonderful soul that Talavante truly is. He would be endlessly grateful to finally have a loving home to call his own.

Capricho is a truly stunning dark marble-coloured galgo, but his beauty is only surpassed by his incredible character. He is joyful, playful, and full of love — the kind of dog who gives everything with his whole heart. Despite having suffered a serious injury to his front leg, which means he currently moves on three legs, Capricho has never let it define him. If anything, it has made him embrace life even more. At just 1.5 years old, he is still waiting for surgery that will hopefully improve the use of his leg. He deserves the chance to run freely on all fours — although, you would never think anything is missing, as he already plays, runs, and enjoys life to the fullest every single day. Capricho is pure sunshine. His resilience, joy, and love for life are truly inspiring. If you welcome him into your home, he won’t just bring happiness — he will remind you to cherish every day, just as he does.

Turrón, this sweet little galgo, was found alone on the streets near a village in Madrid with a horrific injury to his leg. He was extremely thin, barely able to walk, and simply trying to survive. Despite everything he had endured, Turrón is one of the gentlest souls you could ever meet. We brought him into our care and immediately rushed him to our vet. At first he was so weak he couldn’t stand and had to be carried everywhere. His foot injury appears to be an old one that became badly infected, but with medication and care he has already made wonderful progress. Now Turrón can walk again — and even runs toward you for cuddles and kisses. He still needs a complex surgery, and we are waiting for the right moment for the operation. We will make sure he becomes strong, healthy, and ready to find the loving home he truly deserves. Turrón is as sweet as his name suggests. He is sociable with all dogs and also cat-safe. He wouldn’t harm a soul — all he wants is love. And we have yet to meet anyone who doesn’t fall in love with him the moment they meet him.
