Rovell es un precioso galgo joven atigrado con unos ojos tristes que cuentan una historia demasiado familiar para nosotros. Una historia de abandono, miedo y sufrimiento — el triste destino que han vivido demasiados galgos. Cuando Rovell llegó, llevaba consigo un profundo miedo hacia las personas. Era evidente que la bondad no había formado parte importante de su vida. Como tantos otros, llegó inseguro, asustado y emocionalmente roto por todo lo que había vivido. Por eso hacemos lo que hacemos. Creemos que el amor, la paciencia y la amabilidad pueden sanar incluso las heridas más profundas. Y, afortunadamente, una y otra vez comprobamos que es verdad. Ver cómo perros como Rovell aprenden poco a poco a confiar de nuevo es uno de los procesos más hermosos y gratificantes que existen. Poco a poco ha empezado a comprender que no todos los humanos son iguales. Ahora disfruta de nuestra compañía, busca los mimos y se permite aceptar el cariño que siempre mereció. El camino aún no ha terminado, pero Rovell está avanzando con paso firme. Cada día gana un poco más de confianza y sabemos que en un hogar lleno de amor seguirá floreciendo hasta convertirse en el compañero maravilloso que siempre debió ser. Rovell is a handsome young brindle galgo with sad eyes that tell a story all too familiar to us. A story of neglect, fear, and abandonment — the sadly typical fate of far too many galgos. When Rovell arrived, he carried with him a deep fear of humans. It was clear that kindness had not been a large part of his life. Like so many others, he came to us unsure, frightened, and emotionally broken by the treatment he had received. This is why we do what we do. We believe that love, patience, and kindness can heal even the deepest wounds. And thankfully, time and again, we see that it is true. Watching dogs like Rovell slowly learn to trust again is one of the most rewarding journeys imaginable. Little by little, he has begun to understand that not all humans are the same. He now enjoys our company, seeks out cuddles, and allows himself to accept the affection he has always deserved. The journey is not yet complete, but Rovell is well on his way. His confidence grows a little more every day, and we know that in a loving home he will continue to blossom into the wonderful companion he was always meant to be. We hope his forever family finds him soon.
